Heat a kadhai or pan and add chenna (crumbled paneer) to it.
Break paneer with spatula.
Keep stirring on medium flame until paneer separates.
Once it turns light golden color, add 1 tablespoon of ghee and sugar.
Mix well and add 3 tablespoons of milk.
Now cook on medium flame until paneer mixture turns a little brownish in color.
Allow mixture to cool down for a few minutes and transfer it to grinder.
Grind paneer granules to form smooth powder. Transfer this mixture to kadhai and add remaining 1 tablespoon of ghee.
Cook this mixture for few more minutes on medium flame until the color becomes dark brown.
Now add cardamom powder and milk to the mixture.
Mix well and cook it for just another 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off the flame and wait until it cools down a little bit (don't allow it to cool completely but keep it a little warm).
Once peda mixture is still warm (not very hot and not completely cold), give it oval shape or any other shape you like using your palms.
Take 2 tablespoon of sugar and roll Peda to coat sugar over it.
